What a great day at our 49th Junior Solo Piping and Drumming Competition today in Pitlochry. We had a great turnout and it was amazing to see so many new youngsters out competing for the first time.
Thank you to everyone who entered, families and friends for coming to cheer their loved ones on, and all the volunteers who helped the day run so smoothly. Another thank you to McCallum Bagpipes Ltd for their continued donations and support over the years, from chanters to cases, all very much appreciated and loved by the prize winners. Also Piping Club for their donation of 2 three month memberships and ES Session Chanters for their beautiful chanter.
A special well done to Under 15 Champion Lachlan Rennie and runner up Toby Chapman, and 15-18 years Champion Lennox Munro (pictured with his new ES Chanter) and runner up Archie McNab.
Last but not least, a big, big thank you to Gillie McNab. If it wasn’t for Gillie this amazing day would never have happened.
